Sri Lankan cricket legend Jayasuriya, Australian former coach John Buchanan and Indian former pacer Venkatesh Prasad has signed for Pakistan Super League (PSL) as the roster coach.
Jayasuriya is a former cricketer of Sri Lanka and he was also the captain of the team from 1999-2003. The all rounder retired from Test cricket and ODI in 2007 and 2011 respectively. In 2013 he appointed as the chief selector of team Sri Lanka. Now he going to play a new role of his career.
Venkatesh Prasad is a former cricketer of India and he is the bowling coach of Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL (Indian Premier League). He also coached team India from 2007 to 2009. He also signed for first season PSL to coach up the team.
Prasad has delighted for the prestigious signing in PSL. He said on a video message sports have no obstruction and that’s why cricket has offered to different game in world wide. He also added that he felt very proud to involve with the tournament.
Another new signing coach John Buchanan is the former coach of Australia. He is also the former coach of Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL.
The PSL T20 has already signed many T20 specialist and they are Shane Watson, Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen, Sunil Narine, Dwayne Bravo, James Anderson and few more others.
